Hooray for Eli!
Last month the class participated in the Knights of Columbus Knowledge Contest. Each student took two tests, one in spelling and one in math. Approximately 140 fifth grade students from eight schools in the area competed for a spot in the top 5.
Eli won 4th place!
This is not a surprise to all of his super fans as we have recently cheered him on in the Holy Cross Spelling Bee and just celebrated him perfecting 500 spelling words this year! Eli has not missed a word on a spelling test this year and finished in 3rd place at the school spelling bee.
